Build real apps in Claude

Add Capacity to Claude and turn a conversation into a live app: backend, database, hosting and your own domain. Your Claude subscription does the building — no Capacity credits.

Set it up in a minute

  1. 1In Claude (web or desktop), open Settings → Connectors and click “Add custom connector”.
  2. 2Name it Capacity and paste the server URL above.
  3. 3Click Connect, then approve access on the Capacity page that opens — you can create your account right there.
  4. 4Start a new chat and ask: “Build me a … on Capacity”.

Using Claude Code or Cursor? Create an API key in Settings → Connectors and copy the ready-made command.

Questions

Does building from Claude use my Capacity credits?+

No. Claude writes the code on your Claude subscription. Capacity provides the workspace, builds, previews, hosting and domains — unlimited on every paid plan. Credits are only used by the Capacity agent inside the Capacity app.

Which Claude plan do I need?+

Any Claude plan that lets you add custom connectors (Settings → Connectors). The same connector works in Claude on the web and in the desktop app.

Can I keep working on the app in Capacity?+

Yes. Apps built from Claude show up in your Capacity dashboard with their full version history. Switch between Claude and the Capacity editor whenever you like.

What kind of apps can Claude build?+

Websites and client-side apps (React, Tailwind, shadcn/ui), or full-stack apps with an API, a database and user accounts. Every app gets a live preview URL and can be published to your own domain.

How do I disconnect Claude?+

Remove the connector in Claude, or disconnect it from Capacity in Settings → Connectors. Your apps stay in your Capacity account.
